Radish Sandwich

During his recent visit, my dad introduced us to the radish sandwich.  It's now our favorite Saturday afternoon lunch.  

Butter both sides of a sliced baguette with real butter, softened.  Add radish greens that have been tossed in a white wine viniagrette and then pile on thinly sliced fresh radishes.  Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper. 

 Enjoy!  It's delicious.

First Mother's Day

This was my first Mother's Day ever and at my request, we spent most of the weekend in the park. 



On Saturday, we went to the park after a trip to the Farmer's Market...

...and had a picnic in the park on Sunday.  What a beautiful weekend.

My dad was in town over the weekend and spoiled us with each and every meal.  I had to document each meal because they were all so delicious!
