My World is a White Frosted Cupcake

Early this morning a snow storm covered New York with white, fluffy frosting.

The fire escape steps outside my window are like chocolate dipped lady fingers with sugar icing.

The Empire State Building stands like a giant popsicle in the distance.
Candy-coated cars sit in a frozen row.

And a sweet-toothed hound wants to gobble up every frosty morsel.

  1. You are so lucky you don't have to mess with driving in it or shoveling it. We loved the look of it in Ohio, but after have to drive in it, dig out cars, and shovel our corner lot and driveway, we were over it very quickly.

  3. Wendy - Yes, it is very nice to not deal with a car in this weather! I'm sure once it gets hot again, I will miss getting from point A to point B in my little air conditioned bubble, but I'm getting pretty used to life without a car.

Deb - Thanks! For some reason the fresh snow makes me think of frosting, ice cream, and all things sweet...actually, a lot of things remind me of sweets :)
